EVENTS AND TOURS IN LONDON

Wimbledon is the place to be during the summer months when the Tennis tournaments
start. This place is truly wonderful and worth buying some tickets to watch the great
champions slug it out on the courts.
Chinatown has also a really vibrant social scene where one can get great cuisine and
enjoy a drink with friends. The Spectacular carnival during the Chinese New Year is
worth seeing and is very exciting.

The South Bank is where most of London's theatres are located. The great Royal Festival
Hall which is home to the London Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Symphony
Orchestra, the Hayward Gallery, the Royal National Theatre as well as the National Film
Theatre are all around the South Bank district of the river Thames. Here is also where the
finish line for the London city marathon is located.

The great area around South Kensington is home to the Science Museum, that Natural
History Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Kensington Palace is also located
here and has great shops in the area. Knightsbridge has also got some fine department
stores, and none as famous as Harrods Department store. Next to Harrods is the Harvey
Nichols Department store, which has extra chic designer style fashion on display and has
many floors selling all sorts of foods, clothes, jewellery and many other luxury goods that
look so cool. There is also a great Su Shi restaurant upstairs on the top floor with one of
those conveyor belt counters that will whet anyone's appetite.
